Straw Poll Results
The first question was to determine whether any bylaws change proposals should be added to a consent agenda (see the "Consent Agenda" tab in the Google Sheet). No proposals met the threshold of votes to be added to a consent agenda. We will therefore debate all proposed items at the 2019 DSA-LA Annual Convention (provided there is enough time).
The second question asked members to rank the bylaws change proposals (see “Bylaws Changes, Ranked” tab in the Google Sheet) and chapter resolution proposals (see “Chapter Resolutions, Ranked” tab in the Google Sheet) in order of most important to least important to discuss at the convention and was used to determine the order of the agenda (see “Agenda Order” tab in the Google Sheet). Proposals that tied were decided by a coin toss.
- Child Watch will be provided.
- There will be a Lactation Room.
- As a courtesy to fellow members, please avoid wearing strong scents.
- Entrances and exits will be wheel chair accessible.
- Fellow members with difficulty with mobility will be given preference to use pews at the front of the venue.
Food & Refreshments
Light breakfast snacks & refreshments (granola bars, fruit, coffee, etc.) will be provided before the start of the Annual Convention. Lunch will be provided. There will be vegetarian, vegan & gluten free options along with refreshments.
Please note that members are strongly discouraged from consuming food inside of the sanctuary.
