I am dedicated to the community of Sun Valley and the San Fernando Valley as a whole. I have been a part of the Sun Valley Area Neighborhood Council for over 5 years. I am a mother to five children who attend LAUSD public schools in our community. Because of them and for others who are not able to speak out, I am ready to ensure our Neighborhood Council represents that needs of our community.
DSA-LA candidate: Amy Fall
Seat: Residential Stakeholder
Statement: I am a 10 year resident/home owner in Sun Valley. I recently ran for AD39 and lost to the establishment. I believe big money in politics has corrupted most politicians to lobby for corporations rather than 'we the people'. I believe 'we the people' should be able to work 40 hours a week and earn a living wage. I believe Wall Street and large corporations should pay their fair share and not put a larger burden on 'we the people' than themselves. I believe our nation, government should provide decent Healthcare for All 'we the people', not just the rich. I am a former Director of Fundraising for Feel the Bern Democratic Club LA. I have canvassed for Progressive candidates in LA, registered new voters at the LA Country Fair, I protested Dianne Feinstein on several occasions and was part of the group that got her to agree to hold Town Halls in California. I am an activist and protestor. I am also a teacher, coach, artist, continual student and human being. I hope you can find the time in your busy lives to come and vote for me on April 27th. You only need to work, live or be part of an organization that is located in Sun Valley to be able to vote. I look forward to seeing you there.
