Join concerned residents and STAND-L.A. to share your concerns about the health impacts and safety risks of neighborhood oil drilling in Los Angeles before the City of Los Angeles Health Commission.
Stand Together Against Neighborhood Drilling Los Angeles (STAND-L.A.) seeks to clean Los Angeles’ air, protect public health and fight climate change by ending oil drilling in LA neighborhoods. From South L.A. to Wilmington, communities are taking a stand for environmental justice by ending oil drilling near their homes, schools, places of worship and hospitals. Together, we are asking the City for a solution: a 2,500-foot health and safety buffer that ensures Angelenos will no longer have to live with the health impacts of having an oil well next door.
