4,000 mental health care workers across the state are going on strike against the unfair working conditions at Kaiser Permanente - working conditions that stops mental health workers from doing their job and have led to intolerably long wait times for patients seeking care. What's at stake at Kaiser is more than just the wages and pension of health care workers, but whether or not a hospital can cut down on the quality of healthcare in order to save a couple bucks.
Join DSA-LA as we walk the line with Mental Healthcare Workers during the lunch hour and join in their opening strike rally. Let's show Kaiser that Los Angeles is watching, and we have the backs of our fellow workers!
